Moxifloxacin & Dexamethasone eye drops should be used exactly as prescribed by your ophthalmologist. This combination contains an antibiotic to control susceptible bacterial infections and a corticosteroid to reduce eye inflammation. Correct application and following the prescribed duration are important for safe and effective treatment. Wash your hands: Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before using the eye drops. Check the medicine: Check the bottle, strength, expiry date, and packaging. Do not use the medicine if the container is damaged. Shake if required: If your product is an ophthalmic suspension, shake the bottle well before each application according to the product label. Prepare your eye: Tilt your head backward or lie down comfortably and gently pull the lower eyelid downward to create a small pocket. Apply the prescribed dose: Hold the bottle close to the eye without touching the dropper tip to your eye, eyelashes, eyelids, or surrounding skin. Instill the prescribed number of drops. Close the eye: Gently close your eye after application and avoid rubbing or squeezing your eyelids. Prevent contamination: Replace the cap securely after use and keep the dropper tip clean.
