SILODOSIA 4D Capsules are a combination pharmaceutical formulation from Steris Healthcare, containing Silodosin 4 mg and Dutasteride 0.5 mg. Silodosin is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blocker that helps relax the smooth muscles of the prostate and bladder neck. This action can improve urine flow and help relieve lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that reduces the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). By lowering DHT levels, it can gradually reduce prostate volume and help improve urinary symptoms associated with an enlarged prostate.
