SILODOSIA M 50 KIT is a combination pack marketed by Steris Healthcare, containing Mirabegron 50 mg and Silodosin 8 mg for the management of selected lower urinary tract symptoms in men. Mirabegron is a beta-3 adrenergic receptor agonist that helps relax the bladder muscle during the storage phase, increasing bladder capacity and helping manage symptoms such as urinary urgency, frequent urination, and urge urinary incontinence. Silodosin is an alpha-1 adrenergic blocker that relaxes the smooth muscles around the prostate and bladder neck, helping improve urine flow and relieve urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The two medicines act on different parts of the urinary system. Mirabegron helps reduce bladder storage symptoms, while silodosin helps relax the prostate and bladder-neck muscles to support urine flow.
