Do not apply more than advised, as this will not improve relief and may increase side effects. How to apply: Gently massage the gel into the skin until it is absorbed. Do not rub hard. Wash your hands: Wash your hands thoroughly after application, unless your hands are the area being treated. Where not to apply: Do not apply on broken skin, cuts, open wounds, rashes, or irritated skin. Keep it away from the eyes, mouth, nose, and other mucous membranes. Avoid covering: Do not cover the area with tight bandages, heating pads, or hot water bottles unless your doctor advises, as heat can increase absorption.
