ALFUGEM D 10 Tablets are a prescription formulation from Steris Healthcare, containing Alfuzosin Sustained Release (SR) 10 mg and Dutasteride 0.5 mg. Alfuzosin is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blocker that helps relax the muscles around the prostate and bladder outlet, which can help improve urinary flow. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that reduces the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), helping reduce prostate enlargement over time. The combination of Alfuzosin SR and Dutasteride is prescribed for the management of urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), such as difficulty starting urination, weak or interrupted urine flow, and frequent or urgent urination.
How to use
Take ALFUGEM D 10 Tablets exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water and do not crush, chew, or break it unless specifically advised by your healthcare professional. Take it at the recommended time each day and do not change the dose without medical advice.
