Flupentixol and Melitracen are active ingredients combined in certain prescription medicines used to manage selected mental health conditions involving depressive symptoms and anxiety. This combination may be prescribed when a healthcare professional determines that both medicines are appropriate for the patient's symptoms and medical history. Flupentixol belongs to the thioxanthene group of antipsychotic medicines and acts on dopamine receptors in the brain. Melitracen belongs to the tricyclic antidepressant group and affects neurotransmitters involved in mood regulation. Together, these medicines may help relieve certain symptoms, such as low mood, anxiety, and emotional tension, in appropriately selected patients.
How to use
