It contains Glibenclamide IP 2.5 mg and Metformin Hydrochloride IP 400 mg, two active ingredients that work through complementary mechanisms to support blood glucose management in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Glibenclamide 2.5 mg belongs to the sulfonylurea class of medicines. It stimulates the pancreas to release insulin, helping lower blood glucose levels.
