Hydroxena 500 Capsule is an oral prescription medicine containing Hydroxyurea 500 mg. Hydroxyurea belongs to a group of medicines known as antimetabolites. It works by interfering with DNA synthesis and slowing the growth and multiplication of certain cells. Hydroxena 500 may be prescribed for certain blood disorders and cancers, depending on the specific formulation, indication, and treatment guidelines applicable to the patient.
