LONICAZOLE 30 by Steris Healthcare contains Luliconazole 1.0% w/w, a potent imidazole antifungal agent designed for effective localized application. How to use
Luliconazole inhibits the fungal enzyme lanosterol 14α-demethylase, which is responsible for converting lanosterol into ergosterol—an essential component of the fungal cell membrane. By disrupting ergosterol synthesis, LONICAZOLE 30 weakens the fungal cell wall, leading to cell death and clearing the infection.
