METALONIX 10 by Steris Healthcare contains 10 mg of Metolazone, an advanced quinazoline diuretic with high clinical potency. Uniquely effective even in patients with impaired kidney function (low glomerular filtration rate), METALONIX 10 promotes fluid and sodium excretion, reducing swelling, easing cardiac load, and assisting in blood pressure management under expert medical care. Key Ingredients & Clinical Benefits: Metolazone (10 mg): A potent thiazide-like diuretic that selectively inhibits sodium and chloride reabsorption at the cortical diluting segment of the distal renal tubule, leading to increased urinary excretion of sodium, chloride, and water. Key Uses & Clinical Benefits: Effective Edema Management: Promotes prompt fluid loss in patients suffering from severe edema caused by congestive heart failure or renal dysfunction. How to use
Take 1 tablet of METALONIX 10 once daily in the morning, with or after breakfast, or strictly as prescribed by your nephrologist, cardiologist, or physician. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet. Taking the dose in the morning helps prevent night-time urination (nocturia) and sleep disruption.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry, and dark place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Maintain at a controlled room temperature below 30°C. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
