REXFARM 60 Tablet by Steris Healthcare contains 60 mg of Raloxifene Hydrochloride IP. It belongs to a class of non-steroidal medications known as Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators (SERMs). REXFARM 60 offers tissue-specific actions, providing estrogen-like protective effects on bones and lipid metabolism while blocking estrogenic action in breast and uterine tissues. Key Uses & Clinical Benefits: Osteoporosis Management: Helps prevent and treat bone loss in postmenopausal women, increasing bone density and reducing the risk of spinal fractures. Breast Cancer Prevention: Reduces the risk of developing invasive breast cancer in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis or at high risk for breast cancer. Lipid Profile Support: Helps maintain healthy lipid parameters by reducing total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels without stimulating the endometrium. How REXFARM 60 Works: Raloxifene Hydrochloride binds selectively to estrogen receptors across the body. In bone tissues, it acts as an estrogen agonist to inhibit osteoclast activity and prevent bone resorption. In breast tissue, it acts as an antagonist, inhibiting estrogen-driven cell proliferation.
How to use
Take 1 tablet of REXFARM 60 once daily, with or without food, or exactly as prescribed by your healthcare professional. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Try to take it at the same time each day for best results. Ensure adequate daily intake of calcium and Vitamin D as advised by your doctor.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, light, and moisture. Store at room temperature below 30°C. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
