Paracetamol, Phenylephrine HCl, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Ammonium Chloride and Menthol is a combination cold and cough medicine formulated to provide temporary relief from common cold and respiratory symptoms. It may help manage symptoms such as fever, mild body aches, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, throat irritation, and mucus-related cough. Paracetamol is commonly used for reducing fever and relieving mild pain, while Phenylephrine HCl is a decongestant that may help relieve a blocked nose. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antihistamine that can help reduce allergy-related symptoms such as sneezing and a runny nose. How to use
Take Paracetamol, Phenylephrine HCl, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Ammonium Chloride and Menthol only according to the dosage and directions provided on the product label or as recommended by a doctor or pharmacist. If the medicine is in syrup or liquid form, measure the prescribed dose using the supplied measuring cup, spoon, or oral syringe. Do not use a household spoon because it may provide an inaccurate dose. Shake the bottle well before each use if instructed on the product label. Take the medicine at the recommended intervals and do not exceed the stated daily dose. Do not take an additional medicine containing paracetamol/acetaminophen without checking with a healthcare professional, as taking excessive amounts can cause serious liver damage. Chlorpheniramine may cause drowsiness or reduced alertness. Avoid driving, operating machinery, or performing activities requiring concentration if you feel sleepy. Avoid alcohol while using this medicine because it may increase drowsiness and other side effects. Do not use this combination medicine for longer than recommended if cold, cough, fever, or congestion symptoms do not improve. If you miss a dose, take it when remembered unless it is nearly time for the next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one. Keep the medicine out of reach of children and store it according to the instructions on the packaging.
