STERIS DURA 20 by Steris Healthcare contains Tadalafil 20 mg, a medicine used to manage erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. Erectile dysfunction is a condition that makes it difficult to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual activity. Tadalafil works by inhibiting the phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) enzyme, helping relax blood vessels and improve blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. Its effects can last longer than those of some other erectile dysfunction medicines, although individual responses may vary. Tadalafil 20 mg is generally prescribed for use when needed before anticipated sexual activity. Sexual stimulation is necessary for the medicine to work. Tadalafil does not directly increase sexual desire and should be used according to a doctor's instructions.
How to use
Take STERIS DURA 20 exactly as prescribed by your doctor. When prescribed for use as needed, follow your healthcare professional's instructions regarding timing before sexual activity. Swallow the tablet with water, with or without food, as directed. Do not take more than the prescribed dose or repeat a dose more frequently than recommended. Do not combine tadalafil with other erectile dysfunction medicines unless your doctor specifically advises you to do so. Inform your doctor about all medicines and supplements you take, particularly nitrate medicines used for chest pain, alpha-blockers, and medicines that lower blood pressure. The appropriate dose depends on your medical history, kidney and liver function, and other medicines.
Storage
Store STERIS DURA 20 according to the storage instructions printed on the product packaging. Keep the tablets in their original packaging, protected from excessive heat and moisture. Store out of reach of children and do not use the medicine after its expiry date.
